Our "Let Us Go Up - Together to Jerusalem" pilgrimage is a three-day event of learning, walking, prayer and music to help us Jews and Christians prepare for our respective holy days of Easter and Passover. In partnership with the Philos Project, our 2019 event brought together Jews, Catholics and Protestants from Israel, Palestine, Europe and North America. The first of its kind, this journey along the ancient path from the ruins of the city of Emmaus up to Jerusalem served as a conduit toward a shared educational and spiritual experience. The spiritual and physical "ascent" toward the crest of the holy city of Jerusalem is a journey precious to both of our traditions and experiencing this journey together was one of profound significance.
